Empired delivers enhanced security for customers with exclusive Microsoft Intelligent Security Association membership

After completing an assessment and qualification process, Empired has been accepted into the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). Through this membership, Empired’s customers can be assured that its solutions and services are wrapped in the highest levels of protection and that they are in safe hands with Empired. It will help customers digitally transform with confidence and operate with less cybersecurity risk.

MISA is an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISVs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that have integrated their solutions to better defend against a world of increasing threats. Empired joins the the exclusive network of Australian organisations who are part of MISA, which accepts members on an invitation-only basis.

Joining MISA lets Empired demonstrate the investment and commitment it’s made in both capability and security in terms of intellectual property (IP) as well as its market offering. This includes Empired’s Security Management Platform, which is a key component of its MISA qualification.

Empired’s Security Management Platform, built Sentinel and Lighthouse, detects and alerts potential threats to a customer’s Security Operations Centre or one provided as-a-Service by Empired. The platform also includes a number of tailor-made dashboards to track and improve on security baselines including: attack surface area reduction; application control; anti-malware management; ransomware protection; vulnerability and software update tracking; and continuous improvement based on Microsoft recommendations.  

Each new MISA member brings valuable expertise to the security ecosystem, making the association increasingly more effective as it expands and evolves. Empired submitted its Security Management Platform to bolster its qualification process for MISA.

Empired’s membership with MISA is in addition to its Azure Expert managed service provider (MSP) status. This gives customers greater confidence in the knowledge that Empired is qualified to perform and deliver, especially as MISA members are considered the top experts from across the cybersecurity industry and share the goal of improving customer security.
