The opportunity
The Sales Excellence and Operations Coordinator is a key business partner role, responsible for working alongside the Sales Leaders to define and develop best practice processes, frameworks and reporting necessary for the on-going success of the sales function. The role will be predominantly operation in nature such as helping to develop core best practice methods specific to the requirements of the sales function, developing reporting to support the sales function and providing guidance to drive accuracy and predictability of sales.
You will help develop and maintain the operational processes and systems of Empired sales functions, working with the Sales Leadership Team and Sales Enablement team and various regional sales leaders. You will also help produce and maintain sales metrics and reports to assist in driving accuracy and predictability of sales.
What would we like to see from you?
· A relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated commercial experience, preferably in a sales operations environment.
Certifications/Accreditations/Framework experience (preferred):
· Experience with various sales methodologies, sales performance management tools and CRM systems.
You’ll make an impact through:
· Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and target attainment
· Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales pipeline and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business
· Administration of sales tools (CRM and NetSuite) as well as research tools (Sales Navigator, Ibis World)
· On-boarding new sales professionals effectively in processes and systems
· Monitoring usage of and maintaining all sales process artefacts
· Support the sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics
· Assist with content for executive presentations and board reporting
· Assisting the Sales Leaders with pipeline and opportunity data quality inspection
· Supporting the Empired client satisfaction survey process from data integrity and survey logistics through to feedback analysis and reporting plus driving greater CRM data accuracy and process compliance.

The experience to develop and drive best practice within our sales teams and to ensure we are at the forefront of the industry in respect to our sales performance.
· You will possess a strong understanding of sales methodologies, sales performance management and sales education, along with the interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with our team of senior sales professionals.
· Experience and interest in data management
· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to engage with senior sales professionals and other business unit leaders
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Knowledge of CRM, PowerBI and financial systems preferred
· Demonstrated capability to look beyond the status quo and continually challenge and improve processes and tasks
· Experience or ability to be comfortable working with remote teams
· Demonstrated experience in being able to prioritize, structure, plan and organize tasks and workloads
