Exciting opportunity to join our Tools and Automation practice in Perth as we undertake an exciting growth phase

The opportunity
As the Practice Lead you will lead the Tools & Automation Team across Australia & New Zealand, responsible for the quality of solutions delivered and supported through the Practice to Empired’s clients. This role ensures best practice development methodologies and frameworks are adhered to and contributes to maintaining the capability of the team. Your drive for improvement and technical expertise will keep you close to the solutions being delivered, improvements being attained and your leadership capability will ensure your teammates are learning from your experience..
  
  
The Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of consultants, engineers and developers to deliver great outcomes for our clients
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and realise improvements through use of automation and tools to achieve continual improvement in service outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Lead the team to ensure toolsets are maintained to ensure security, availability and the tools continue to deliver changing business & customer needs
  • Work with project teams and clients to solution, implement and transition into ongoing sustainable support
  • Ongoing development of the team to provide rewarding roles and align with business plans, partnership and capability to deliver great outcomes to customers
  • Drive operational excellence within the team, escalating any resourcing, performance or process concerns in a timely manner
  • Manage the delivery of our solutions to clients, working closely with other Practice Leads, Managers & Directors and PMO to ensure successful project initiation, management and delivery
  • Contribute to presales activities in conjunction with the Client Development team
  • Take ownership and provide solution leadership to the team
  • Ensuring quality assurance through compliance and adherence to delivery practices & methods
The Person
This role would be ideal for someone with the following skills and experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in service management, IT, automation, business improvement, design
  • Have, or are, leading a team of technical professionals today
  • Experience in management of tooling solutions for Service Management, Monitoring and Automation
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience from pre-sales to final delivery; ensuring that each solution is appropriately scoped, designed, implemented, and tested to meet our client's business needs
  • Experience in working with partners and the development of capability in products.
  • Confidence working directly with internal stakeholders, clients and partners. Displaying an aptitude for gaining a thorough understanding of their vision will be a huge strength
  • A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry, which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present and point of view to a variety of audiences
  • Experience across cloud and on-premise solution delivery
