The Role
As a Cloud Solutions Architect within our Modern Workplace practice, you will engage with our clients to provide technical expertise and be responsible for architecting high quality, complex cross-product cloud solutions.
 
The Responsibilities
  • Consult with various customers, supporting and spearheading their journey to the Azure cloud. Design, build and deploy Cloud environments for Enterprise workloads
  • Management of Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)
  • Support and maintain CI/CD capability using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, ARM templates or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Migration activities
  • Automating, orchestration and streamlining operations processes
  • Manage and monitor cloud environments to ensure availability and resiliency to supporting the platforms servicing our Members and staff
  • Provide technical guidance to our customers
The Person
Our Cloud Solutions Architect proactively seeks effective approaches to guide our customers on their journey to the cloud, ensuring that they are trusted advisors in the space. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills along with enterprise experience building and architecting projects that consist of cloud PaaS and IaaS offerings.
To be successful in this role, you will have -
  • 5+ years as an Azure Architect and or Consultant
  • Experience managing complex Microsoft Azure environments
  • Understanding of security principles and controls in cloud environments
  • Experience creating Cloud design to establish an architecture foundation that supports a scalable, reliable, flexible, dynamic, and redundant architecture
  • Experience administering objects in Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS and virtual networking including Azure Expressroute
  • Experience and understanding of virtual infrastructure including Server and Desktop virtualisation technologies such as VMware & Hyper-V
  • Familiar with one or more scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Familiar with orchestration & configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell DSC)
  • Familiar with vulnerability and patch management
  • Familiar with DHCP/DNS/WINS/Group Policy
