Position Title: Business Development Specialist (Cloud Licensing)

Location: Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
  
The Role
As a Business Development Specialist for Cloud Licensing, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and generating licensing business from existing as well as new prospective clients. Building strong relationships with our clients to understand the outcomes they are seeking to realise, you will work with our expert teams across the business to demonstrate proven cloud and licensing solutions that will meet their needs.

The Responsibilities
  • Manage an existing Cloud Solution provider (CSP) portfolio of clients, while actively seeking and pursuing new opportunities and strategic licensing relationships
  • Manage and close opportunities through accuracy of forecasting, account strategy and planning, and resource requirements identified
  • Develop a pipeline to ensure achievement of sales targets through active Account Management and Business Development efforts
  • Collaborating as part of the Licensing team to strategize, present and enable complex customer requirements
  • You will deliver solutions to Empired’s clients by providing pricing services for software and cloud consumption licensing models
  • Foster and maintain superior Client Relationships across levels
 Your Experience
  • Proven experience with licensing sales and a strong understanding of the Microsoft software (range) of technologies
  • Experience in meeting customer requirements to meet simple through to complex licensing requirements, dependent on solution
  • Experience articulating the business value that can be derived from the strategic application of technology
  • Credibility to engage at various levels using your relationship skills to influence outcomes and drive referential engagement
  • Good understanding of the various licensing programs with the ability to articulate the advantages and disadvantages of each program
