Empired seeks a Change Release Manager to join the SMO team in Perth!

The Role
 

This role will be working within our IT Service Management (ITSM) team, with responsibility for the Change and Release Management processes. In collaboration with the ITSM Program Manager, you will provide capability across our Infrastructure Services customers and work with the Delivery organisation, including our Service Delivery Managers, Practice Managers, Delivery Team Leaders, and Delivery Teams. The opportunity will suit a person with significant experience in a Change and Release Manager Role with exposure and an understanding of ITSM processes within an ITIL-aligned environment.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Driving, developing, managing, and maintaining the Change and Release processes and associated procedures.
  • Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Change and Release management processes by implementing continuous improvement activities.
  • Producing management information, including KPIs and reports, within agreed timeframes.
  • Participating in the cascading of the Change and Release management process and procedures across the clients and all levels within Empired.
  • Ensuring that Change and Release management and related processes based on the ITIL framework are executed consistent with established SLAs.
  • Auditing records to confirm conformance to the agreed processes and quality standards.
  • Chairing and documenting Change Advisory Board review meetings as required.
  • Collaborating with other ITSM process streams and projects.
  • Driving the preparation of Changes and Releases by coordinating technical resources, including end users and 3rd parties, all with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Providing excellent stakeholder communication around Forward Schedule of Change.
The Person
You will need to be a passionate, motivated and client focused Change Release Manager. You will be incredibly ambitious, and confident in engaging at senior levels to further build your personal brand and Intergen’s brand in this competitive market. You will have energy, vision, and the desire to drive and grow new business.

This role would suit someone with the following skills and experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ change and release administration experience
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a Server, Desktop, SAN or Networking support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A real customer focus with excellent attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ITIL certifications are highly desirable but not essential for the role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to liaise at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and workloads.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
