Daniel Kershaw
General Manager, People Experience
In his role, Daniel’s focus is to support the business with practical actions which helps the company achieve their strategic priority to be the place to work. Although a number of initiatives have been identified to support this priority, including the modernisation of our people’s experience through the implementation of PX technologies, Daniel’s belief is that tomorrow’s advantage, delivered today is fundamentally dependent on our leaders.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the human resources area, Daniel is an inclusive people leader with a strong moral compass who holds high expectations of people leaders. He has a passion for coaching others and building strong business relationships.
Daniel has held senior roles around the globe in private and public sector organisations, and has a strong background in strategy development and business transformation.
Outside of work, Daniel and his wife, Kim, are busy with their young family and both are often the volunteer parents supporting the kids’ netball, cricket, rugby teams, or art classes.
Daniel says:
“I value and respect strong leadership. Quality leadership is where it starts and ends in terms of creating the right experience for our people, so they can drive the right outcomes for our customers. Strengthening the ability of our leaders to listen, communicate, provide the tools, coach and set expectations for their people well, helps us to deliver the best results for our customers. It also encourages our people when they get home from work to talk favourably about their day with family and friends.”
