Your job will be based in Perth, Australia, also known as the Aussie city with the most sunshine hours, and for its golden beaches. The locals are into their craft beers in a big way and this city has an excellent nightlife brewing. 

The Role:

Our business is growing and so is our People and Performance Team! We require a seasoned, hands-on IT Recruiter based in our Perth CBD Office, to lead our Recruitment team of four (including yourself), across Australia and New Zealand. Leading remotely, you will manage a team that has a well-established reputation for excellence in end-to-end internal recruitment and will leverage this expertise for effectiveness and impact.
You will also:

  • Be responsible for a strategic plan and vision for Empired recruitment
  • Manage a full portfolio of internal clients, supporting every aspect of their talent acquisition requirements
  • Leverage technology and social media to build talent pools for critical job families Ensure a compelling customer-centric process for both hiring managers and candidates that focus on quality and speed to hire
  • Together with your team members, advise on industry best practice and recruitment strategy
  • Support the graduate recruitment program for impact, continuous improvement, brand and reputation Provide mentoring and support for team members to assist them to develop and grow their careers at Empired   
  • Lead administrative process including regional meetings and regular progress reporting

Your Experience:

Ideally, you will have worked a similar position before and possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A minimum of 10+ years' experience as a Recruiter with deep, recent experience recruiting for IT professionals
  • Strong business acumen and a track record of delivering value-add recruitment outcomes in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Established people leader with experience developing others for success
  • A high work and customer service ethic with excellent relationship building skills 
  • Strong operational management and continuous improvement mindset
