Service Desk Engineer


Three month Service Desk Engineer vacancy. Perth CBD.

Empired is looking for experienced Service Desk Engineers available to commence ASAP to complement our fast growing service desk team in Perth.  These roles are casual – five days a week for three months.
As a service desk engineer, you will play a vital role in the delivery of IT support to our clients. Your can-do attitude will ensure that customer queries, incidents and requests are handled professionally and within the required timeframes. These roles are fantastic opportunities for career growth and development as you will at times be working across our NOC delivery centre.
Your passion for providing quality customer service and a desire to learn more in order to continually improve, will you see you well positioned to build a career in a continually growing organisation. 6 months' experience within an IT customer service environment will be an advantage, however attitude and a demonstrated interest in the opportunity is of equal importance.
As the customer's single point of contact into IT service support, your primary responsibility is the logging, resolution and escalation of all IT incidents in accordance with customers SLA's and with a high level of customer service.
This role requires you to undertake the following:

  • Assist customers with issues relating to our supported software and IT platforms.
  • Answer Service Desk phones in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Follow documented procedures for the resolution and escalation of all incidents.
  • Provide first and second level call resolution support.
  • Work in accordance with the Service Desk Rosters.
  • Participate in the preparation of procedure manuals and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn with a focus on self-improvement, with a high degree of team orientation.
