Empired seeks a Senior Agile Business Analyst to join our Digital & Analytics Team!

The Role
As a Senior Agile Business Analyst, your role is to provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of Empired’s clients. This involves understanding the client’s organisation and enhancing their business by recommending better or more appropriate policies, processes, architectures, and technologies.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Understand the client's business and develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of Empired’s customers.
  • Identify project-related issues and risks and escalate to the relevant project manager. Encourage the team to provide recommendations and solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks, work alongside the project manager to manage client expectations.
  • Elicit requirements that translate stakeholder and user needs into business requirements to enable the delivery of solutions that address stakeholder and user requirements. Guide more junior members of the team in requirements elicitation. Manage client expectations based on client needs
  • Work with Empired customers to elicit and elaborate business requirements and/or project scope using an appropriate method. Actively facilitate focus groups or workshops and run client interviews.
  • Elicit requirements that translate stakeholder and user needs into business requirements to enable the delivery of solutions that address stakeholder and user requirements.
  • Create and/or review documentation, following leading practice, to communicate business and solution requirements and other key information to the client and project team.
  • Contribute to the growth of Empired’s brand reputation and revenue generation
  • Maintain and develop product and industry knowledge to assist in maintaining and evolving Empired’s delivery standards and processes.
  • Mentor junior members of the delivery team to assist those individuals with career and professional development.
The Person
This role would suit someone with the following skills and experience:
  • 5+ years of consulting and implementation experience required in the respective product or solution. A broad range of experience and understanding of industry-standard IT technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in business and systems analysis and configuration of products or solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Capable to work collaboratively in a team or independently as required
