Principal Consultant - Digital Advisory


Empired seeks a Principal Consultant to join our Digital Advisory Team!

The Role
As a Digital Advisor within our Digital Advisory Team you are responsible for engaging with our clients to define and enable their strategic business imperatives with appropriate application of technology.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Engage clients at a strategic level to define and influence transformational change based on Empired capabilities and technology
  • Provide thought leadership on business and technical strategy
  • Instigate digital transformation programs and provide program oversight and governance across large, cross-practice portfolios of work
  • Provide business architecture insight, technical thought-leadership and strategic presales expertise to support sales teams to position large programmes of work
  • Understand our clients’ business and the environment they operate in, to drive market-differentiating services or products and make fundamental shifts in their business
  • Work across our business to provide advice, guidance and commercial understanding to Empired’s delivery practices.

The Person
This role would suit someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated number of years as the lead in the delivery of a technology transformation programme
  • Proven problem-solving through the intelligent application of technology and complex cross-product solutions to solve business challenges
  • Built strong connections in the local technology market
  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role including experience leading projects and designing solutions that leverage the technologies provided by Empired
  • Defined and delivered transformation initiatives
  • Experience of providing strategic technology consulting to customers
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels of an organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with user centred design and customer experience projects and approaches
  • Demonstrated success in the conception and realisation of large complex sales
  • Demonstrated experience working within complex sales and delivery engagements
  • Proven ability to present and persuade to a CxO level audience
