The Role:

As Practice Manager for our fast-growing NSW Region, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of advanced business solutions based around Data & AI as well as representing our brand and capability within the market.  Your sound business acumen and extensive knowledge of data enabled business models, will enable you to confidently and successfully position our transformation programmes with clients.
 
Leading a high-performing team you’ll foster high levels of employee engagement by continuing to develop and mentor our Data and AI experts. You’ll ideally already have great partner relationships with sales and technical leaders who are responsible for Data & AI at Microsoft. Your solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Data & AI suite of products and Microsoft eco-system will help you achieve business outcomes and deliver results.
  
Your Experience:

You’ll have worked in a similar delivery leadership position within a service provider whilst maintaining involvement on the client side.  You will have experience leading teams that deliver large scale complex projects, taking an active governance role to ensure success.  Effective communication, negotiation and facilitation skills will be huge strengths, as well as your ability to drive engagement and oversee various teams.  Your deep understanding around business, technology, and market trends at the forefront of the data and AI world will ensure you excel as our newest Practice Manager.
  
You will be a leader in Microsoft Data & AI technology and have the communication skills and capability to present this view to customers, partners, and colleagues.  You will have passion, credibility, and experience to own relationships with counterparts in Microsoft and other related third-party vendors. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Work with our Sales team to identify and win sales opportunities
  • Conduct presentations and facilitate customer meetings (interstate travel required from time to time)
  • Identify innovative and emerging technology and methodology that can contribute to Empired's go to market strategy and growth objectives
  • Provide thought leadership and champion best practices across sales and delivery
  • Engage with our partners to expand relationships and drive joint opportunities
  • Build trust and become a trusted advisor for our most strategic customers
  • Manage relationships across the business; including sales teams, project management teams and technical delivery teams
