Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Managing activities leading to the successful execution of support and enhancement activities; establishing plans with milestones and deliverables in collaboration with and ensuring accountability of team members for these deliverables. Additionally, you will communicate across various levels to inform work status, as well as elevate issues, present recommendations/modifications to support and enhancement plans.
You will be responsible within a team of Level 3 SharePoint operations and support mission critical SharePoint applications across a range of business portfolios. You will lead end-to-end aspects of services under their responsibility, including L3 break/fix support. You will be a self-starter, effective collaborator, and a strong leader providing deep technical expertise in SharePoint design and implementation, SharePoint customization, and optimization. You must ensure the end-to-end application supports the business needs from a project delivery, architecture standard and compliance, and audit perspective. You will be delivery focused, whilst also exhibiting the ability to work on multiple assignments, exercise good judgment in decision-making, meet deadlines, work independently and within a team, and demonstrate an attention to detail.
You will:

  • Utilize Microsoft SharePoint best practices across on-prem and Public cloud implementations
  • Drive SharePoint Platform adoption
  • Analyze SharePoint implementations to identify and address areas of opportunity
  • Collaborate with team members to translate user and system requirements to functional technical requirements
  • Provide technical guidance on what SharePoint.
  • Mentor team members on SharePoint best practices and administrative tasks
  • Provide and maintain documentation on all SharePoint related architecture
  • Point of Contact for escalations and drive to resolution
  • Root cause analysis and service improvement solutions
  • Lead the execution of application and/or platform changes, releases, and service requests in supported environments
  • Liaise with appropriate teams for the development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve major incidents
  • Perform audits and analysis of application environments
  • Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures

The Person:

  • Ø Have complete understanding and hands on Service Delivery Methodology exposure ( I.e. understanding, defining, and maintaining business ownership of SharePoint solutions) to maximize customer engagement and ROI to ensure successful delivery and ensure delivered solution is Scalable,Systematic,Modular,Repeatable and Industry focused. - ( Must have for Tech Lead )
  • Ø Understanding and exposure to Microsoft SharePoint “Out of the Box” Features , MS Cloud Applications, SharePoint Designer, and 3rd Party tools.
  • Ø Be Familiar with SharePoint Designer - Although Microsoft will not release a new version of SharePoint Designer with SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Designer 2013 knowledge is required to customize and extend SharePoint Server 2016.
  • » and for creating custom workflows for your documents and site contents on SharePoint.
  • Ø Understanding and experience on how to Build and Manage Large Document Libraries and should be able to facilitate quality short and long-term document storage plan.
  • Ø Knowledge on integrating other MS Cloud Service i.e. Yammer, MS Teams, MS Power Apps,MS Flow, SharePoint Framework, MS Planner and other 0365 services.
  • Ø Knowledge of 3rd Party Tools –
    • o Nintex:  Creating workflows in a drag & drop environment and building custom forms with sophisticated business logic behind it.
    • o Sharegate: Migration tool exposure to perform all kinds of data and content migration and simplifies security and permission management.
    • o AvePoint: Mobility tools integrated with SharePoint to provide governance and document lifecycle management
    • o Record Point : Recording tool.
  • Ø Capacity and experience to Develop Custom Solutions like below: ( Must have for Tech Lead )
    • o REST/OData endpoints: To create applications that performs CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations on SharePoint data like an Android app integrated to your SharePoint.
    • o Client Object Model: To develop applications like ASP.NET applications that interact with SharePoint components.
    • o Server Object Model: To extend SharePoint component including workflows, alerts, Web Parts, search, and Business Connectivity Services (BCS)
  • Ø Exposure to SharePoint Patching cycle and version Upgrades
  • Ø Good to have React API 2.0 exposure.
