Graduate Consultants
(Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth)

As Consultant/Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with internal project teams and external clients to analyse and define business requirements that create value, maximise growth and improve their business performance. This involves participating in pre-sales conversations, outlining and documenting their business processes; facilitating workshops and presentations to gather business insights; and making recommendations on improvements and appropriate solutions. Throughout this process you will learn to provide objective advice, participate in software testing, facilitate user training, all while managing stakeholder expectations and keeping the customer happy. You'll work within Empired's team of experts who will offer guidance and support throughout your development journey and help you gain practical experience across various areas of the delivery lifecycle and client projects.

Graduate Sales/Business Development
(Melbourne only) 

As a Sales Representative, you will add value to Empired's bottom line by selling IT services and solutions ultimately driving the sales cycle from the initial stage, through to the closing of business. You will develop leads through a variety of business development activities; maintain client accounts and business plans, conduct sales administration and reporting. This opportunity will see you learning how to generate and convert prospects in to qualified leads by engaging and maintaining relationships with key external business contacts, collating and analysing industry insights. Hone your interpersonal skills by learning how to handle objections and solve business problems, enact strategic thinking in a fast paced, team environment.

Graduate Infrastructure Engineers
(Sydney, Melbourne, Perth)

You will learn how to solve technical problems and provide maintenance solutions for Empired customers, supporting technology and services across a varied customer base. Exposure to our National Operations Service Centre environment will see you rotate through positions such as Service Desk Engineer, Desktop Management Engineer and NOC Engineer, receiving mentoring and advice from Senior team members to grow your specialist knowledge of varied technologies. An exciting mix of both BAU and Project work will provide the necessary experience for your continued success.

Graduate Software Developers
(Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth)

As a Software Developer, you will define, develop, test, implement and maintain software applications to create innovative and user-centric business solutions for Empired clients. You will gain hands on experience across multiple platforms and technologies; work on a variety of sizeable projects and cover a range of tasks across the full development lifecycle. This involves researching, designing, documenting solutions, writing code, testing, analysing and modifying software programs and applications. To set you up for success, you will work with and be mentored by a team of creative, experienced Developers and industry experts.

Graduate Project Coordinator
(Sydney, Adelaide)

You will work collaboratively with Project Managers, Sales Executives, Finance and other Empired Practices in an integral capacity, supporting and administrating project requirements. You will also coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information; manage project plans and schedules; oversee procurement; create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports; support the Project Manager with workshops and client engagements.

Requirements

 

To be considered for these opportunities you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • You must hold Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, with full work rights at the time you submit your application. 
  • You must be in the final year of a university undergraduate degree or have completed your degree in 2017/18 (in Information Technology, or IT-related Business or Finance degree).
  • Your GPA should be a minimum of 65%  
  • You must have a proven passion for Information Technology and be able to demonstrate this!
  • You will be a collaborative team player, keen to work positively with others
  • You will have high attention to detail, excellent communication and analytical skills.
