Empired COVID-19 Update:
an open letter to our clients and partners

Simon BrightAs I write this letter, I’m thinking of how much of a changing world we find ourselves in today and how dynamically we, as leaders, are facing daily complex decisions. COVID-19 is challenging us all as we work to understand and lessen impacts for our people and for you, our customers and partners. As a services business this focus is critical as collectively our people continue to engage together to deliver outcomes.

My teams and I have been asked how Empired are responding and the steps we are taking to ensure business continuity. Let me reassure you, and to use a very colloquial phrase – we have your back.

Empired has a focused Response Team in place, backed by a sound Business Continuity Plan. This Plan will continue to evolve in line with ongoing guidance provided by Australian health authorities.

Technology plays a role for us all in maintaining business continuity wherever we may be. As your provider, we take our role in supporting your business very seriously. You can therefore rest assured that our technology and services remain in place to support your, and our, business in a robust and resilient manner, allowing for continuity of services and operations. We have proactively increased the capacity of our support desk, all projects remain on track, cloud technologies continue to provide capacity and leverage for growth for you, and our people remain available.

All of this gives each of our businesses the ability to keep on going in the uncharted times ahead, to bring together our teams and people in new ways, using the tools and resources at our disposal to adapt to the new normal we will face.

To that end, we’ll be sharing as many practical remote workplace online resources and tools with actionable insights for you and your teams to draw on as and when you need them.

As we navigate these times of change together, if we can help in any way to provide advice or assistance, just let us know.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and most importantly, we wish good health to you, your colleagues and loved ones.

Kind Regards

Simon Bright, Group Chief Operating Officer
